2025-2026 Applications Now open
We are seeking young visionaries that are passionate about building collective power in Inglewood, CA and greater South Bay.
Committee Descriptions:
Community Organizing & Advocacy Committee:
- Build relationships with community organizations
- Organize community events and workshops
- Organize advocacy campaigns
- Attend coalition meetings to strengthen community engagement
- Research and track local elections and policies
- Attend city council meetings and school board meetings
Communications Committee:
- Develop content for website and social media platforms
- Develop strategies to increase community engagement
- Attend community events to increase presence and visibility
- Create quarterly ING Newsletter
- Create end of the year report
Operations Committee:
- Recruit ING Leadership Council Directors and Committee Members
- Engage ING Alumni Network
- Organize team building activities for the ING Leadership Council
- Organize fundraising events and campaigns for ING Fellowship
- Research and apply for grants for the ING Fellowship
Requirements:
Expectations:
- Must be over 18 years old
- Former or current Inglewood/South Bay residents, or those that have a connection to Inglewood/South Bay
- Interested in leadership development
- Desire to create transformative change in Inglewood
- Passionate about social justice
- Possess skills in respective Committee
- Attend one monthly ING Leadership Council meeting to provide updates
- Attend respective ING Committee meetings to work on collaborative projects and actions (as often as needed)
- Commit to at least one year

- December4th, 2024- Applications open
- December 11, 2024 – Info Session
- January 8, 2025 – Applications close
- January 11-17, 2025 – Interviews
- January 21, 2025 – Notifications of application status are sent
- January 29, 2025 – Onboarding meeting
- February 2, 2025 – ING Leadership Council Retreat
